Well, why am I sending you this email?

To let you know something that I have learned in the past.

If you are a video editor, keep reading.

If you sell any other services, also keep reading.

If not, leave it — It doesn’t think you will find any value from it.

So in December, I hit my first $1500 in 30 days.

After that it went down — as always my curiosity towards trying new things.

Yeah, I pivoted towards providing full YouTube services to businesses.

BTW something good happened too.

It’s not that I broke my $1500 in 30 days threshold — I am still pushing my limits.

Now let me tell you the things I learned recently.

I recently started to do a ton of outreach.

You have seen that I was not active on Twitter recently.

Here’s the most important thing I learned:

It sucks — at the beginning at least.

I was stuck on outreach with many questions coming up in my mind.

• What will I say on the sales call?

• How much will I charge them?

• Whom should I reach out to?

• What will I write to them?

And a lot more questions that held me back from making progress.

And that was when I learned the importance of momentum.

You will be stuck forever if you keep thinking about it.

You will get the speed once you start to keep moving.

So here’s how I fixed it.

I set a really small step to follow.

That is to send 10 DM.

That’s all on day one.

I sent 10 DMs saying “Hi, are you looking for an editor?”

The first day I sent 10.

The second day I sent 20.

And on the third day sent 25.

And I kept increasing it gradually.

I removed all the questions from my mind.

At that point, I still don’t know

• Whom to send it to?

• What to send?

• My charges?

F@$#, I even don’t know anything about sales calls.

But hey I kept the momentum up and it started to show some results.

I booked 5 meetings this month — 2 today.
